John " Big John" Leifester has been dedicated to the art of commercial landscaping for more than 19 years. He is an ISA Certified Arborist (TX-3484A) and a Texas Certified Landscape Professional TCLP-0692 from the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association. John values community outreach and is an active Director for the San Antonio Stock Sh
John " Big John" Leifester has been dedicated to the art of commercial landscaping for more than 19 years. He is an ISA Certified Arborist (TX-3484A) and a Texas Certified Landscape Professional TCLP-0692 from the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association. John values community outreach and is an active Director for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo serving as an Assistant Vice President and as past Chairman of the Grounds & Credentials Committee. John is an advocate for the agriculture industry and currently serves as the Youth Initiative Director on the Board of Directors for TNLA and served as President of the American Subcontractors' Association. Workforce Development is important to John and is the driving force behind all his volunteer endeavors. John is the Immediate Past President for the Foundation for ASA, which focuses on education and training for the workforce in the trades. John and his wife Stephy reside in La Vernia, Texas and raise Santa Gertrudis cattle in their spare time.
